Classical Music Meets Pub Crawl With 'Off the Grid'

After two weeks of music, arts and entertainment, the Artosphere Festival ends its 2018 run this week. The 9th annual festival aims to connect arts with environmental issues in unconvential ways.

'Off the Grid' offers a casual classical experience with pop-up performances by musicians from the Artosphere Festival Orchestra. The informal setting- from coffee shops and bars to fitness centers- gives audiences the chance to hear classical music more intimately and to interact with performers.

Katy Henriksen speaks with Carl Larson, violist with AFO, about what audiences can expect to hear- everything between Mozart and Radiohead is up for grabs- and how the pop-up shows help break down barriers to classical music.

Off the Grid is at multiple locations on Dicskon Street & Block Ave. in Fayetteville Thursday at 7 p.m. and in downtown Springdale and Siloam Springs, respectively, Friday at 7 p.m.
