Community Spotlight: Digging into Anthropology

University of Arkansas

Ahead of the University of Arkansas Department of Anthropology open house this Thursday, professors Kathy Koziol and Jamie Brandon each joined Pete Hartman in the Nancy Blair Operations studio to go in-depth on anthropology.

The two broke down some of the misconceptions about the field from mysterious artifacts to exotic societies and explained how it is woven into the fabric of each of our lives. The open house is this Thursday from 4 to 7 pm in the basement of Old Main on the UA campus.

Koziol is an assistant clinical instructor of cultural anthropology. Brandon works with the Arkansas Archaeological Survey and is an associate professor of archaeology at the UA. Listen to both interviews below.
