The Great Investment for Tomorrow or GIFT, AR 529 Plan is a program designed to help save money for a child’s college education. Sponsored by the state of Arkansas, savings can grow tax-deferred and later be withdrawn to pay for qualified higher education costs. State Treasurer Dennis Milligan is seeding Arkansas 529 accounts up to $30,000 for children served by Economic Opportunity Agency.
