Osher Lifelong Learning Insitute - An Absolute Beginners' Guide to Genealogy
Many people want to search for their ancestors but have no idea how to begin. In this course, you will slowly be guided through the steps you need to follow to start and then advance that process. Individual attention will be given. With guidance from Susan Riggs, OLLI's resident Genealogy expert, class members will learn what "doing genealogy" is and will be introduced to useful resources found at local and state repositories and on websites. There will be a brief introduction to using DNA. This is a basic course and only real beginners should enroll.
