In preparation for FORMAT Festival, KUAF producer and reporter Sophia Nourani spoke with the iconic '90s rap group the Pharcyde. Formed in South Central Los Angeles in 1989, and best known for their hit song, 'Passin' me By', from their album Bizarre Ride II, the group will be performing in Arkansas for the first time at FORMAT this weekend.
Sophia Nourani is a producer and reporter. She is a graduate from the University of Arkansas with a BA in journalism and political science. Sophia was raised in San Antonio, Texas.
The 17th annual Candle Lighting Service is at Rolling Hills Baptist Church on Sunday night. The service honors and remembers children who have died at any age from any cause.
