The police department at UAFSbegan using body cameras in 2011. A $12,000 matching grant from the U.S. Department of Justice will allow the university police department to purchase up to 10 new body-worn cameras, which will have upgraded technological capabilities such as improved video quality and expanded peripheral vision.
