Border Cantos Opens at Crystal Bridges

Border Cantos includes large scale photographs and sound-generating sculptures created from items collected along the United States-Mexico border including water bottles, shotgun shells, and pieces of the wall itself.

Border Cantos: Sight & Sound Explorations from the Mexican-American Borderis a collaboration between American photographer Richard Misrach and Mexican-American sculptor and composer Guillermo Galindo. This exhibition, which is comprised of about 80 works of photography, sculpture and found objects, explores the complex issues surrounding the United States-Mexico border. It opens Feb. 18 and will be on view through April 24.
