Arkansas Researchers Develop Blood Test to Detect Early-Stage Cancer

Researchers at Stage 1 Diagnostics in Little Rock have developed a blood test that can detect early-stage cancer by measuring a patient's levels of hepsin, a protein associated with tumor development. The blood test will be available at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Dr. Blake Johnson, the lead researcher at Stage 1 Diagnostics explains how the blood test works.
