Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson was in Springdale Tuesday to further outline a plan to streamline state agencies with the goal of saving the state money. Since taking office in 2015, the governor has instituted a hiring freeze and already consolidated several state agencies. Hutchinson announced he plans to cut the number of cabinet agencies that report to him from 42 to fewer than 20.
