Coronavirus Cases in Arkansas Jump From One to Six

On Thursday, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the number of presumptive positive cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus, jumped from one case to six in the state. Out of an abundance of caution, Hutchinson is recommending closing schools in Pulaski, Jefferson, Saline and Grant Counties after officials identified that school-aged children in those areas have come in contact with the coronavirus patients.
