Earlier this month, Wesley McKinney, a Conway County ranger for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture's Forestry Division, returned from assisting with containment efforts on the August Complex wildfire in northern California. Since then, it has become the largest in state history as dozens of wildfires continue to burn across the western U.S.
