Sunday, March 4th, the Northwest Arkansas chapter of Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families will host its 17th annual Soup Sunday. The event will feature soups from more than 30 local restaurants, music and a live and silent auction. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $10 for children age 5 to 17 and free for children under 5-years-old. Patron tickets can be purchased for $50 each and come with complimentary beer and wine. All of the proceeds will go to support Arkansas Advocates.

Laura Kellams, the Northwest Arkansas director, spoke with Pete Hartman ahead of the event. She shared the history of Soup Sunday and explained the mission and services that Arkansas Advocates provide in the area. Hear the full conversation above.
