For more than a century, different parts of the U.S. have had neighborhood covenants and zoning laws. Some are simple, others are confusing. And as Molly Brady has found in her research, titled Turning Neighbors Into Nuisances, many of these rules in the past and some in the present, come with legal problems. Brady is an assistant professor of law at Harvard Law School and recently spoke, virtually, to the University of Arkansas Law School.
