Crystal Bridges Unveils Crystal Works

Geologic crystal specimens, extracted from central Arkansas's "quartz belt," are scattered throughout the exhibit.

The new exhibition, "Crystals in Art: Ancient to Today," opening this weekend at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, reveals how quartz crystals have been used to create functional objects as well as artworks through the ages.
