FedEx Logistics Joins Companies Moving to Downtown Memphis

Interview with Commercial Appeal logistics reporter Max Garland.

This week's announcement that FedEx Logistics plans to consolidate its world headquarters in the former Gibson Guitar Factory was big enough news that Gov. Bill Lee came to Memphis to praise the deal. The owner of the building, the New York real estate firm Somera Road, followed hours later with its own news: it would develop the Gibson's former surface parking lot next door into a office/hotel/restaurant/retail complex

Commercial Appeal logistics reporter Max Garland joins us to talk about the deal and what it means for Downtown Memphis.
