Brooklyn musician Shira Erlichman, musically known as just Shira, last visited us more than three years ago when she was touring through the region. She is again in the middle of a tour through the south with her partner and poet Angel Nafis, and the two are combining music and poetry during performances on what they’ve dubbed the “Odes For You Tour.” When they were in Fayetteville earlier this week, the two stopped by the Harold and Blanche Caulk Studio at KUAF.
Last week, The Too's stopped by the KUAF studios to discuss their new album, titled Outer Sounds. While they were in the studio, they played another song that predates the new work, titled "Old Songs."
It's been about a year since we last heard from the Fayetteville and Joplin band The Too's. The alt-rock band with a tinge of country--comprised of Isaac Duncan, Eli Chambers, Lewis Brossman, and Karl Doner--is getting ready to release its first full-length album, titled "Outer Sounds." One week from today, the band will have a listening party for the album at Puritan Beer Company on Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Last night, the band stopped by the Firmin-Garner Performance Studio at KUAF .
