As part of Intersections, Northwest Arkansas's monthlong celebration of women in the arts, Stage Eighteen presents an evening of comedy with four women comedians- showing the continuing evolution of the area's stand-up comedy scene this Tuesday, April 24.
Host Laura Wiederhaft stopped by KUAF to discuss her process, the way the stand-up environment of Northwest Arkansas has become more welcoming for women, and her excitement for the night's revue featuring Caroline Ezell, Rachel Runder and Taylor Hern.
"The narrative is changing with women doing great things," says Wiederhaft. "As they always have. They're just claiming more space. Comedy is one of those spaces."
