Poet Geffrey Davis, who teaches in the creative writing program at the University of Arkansas recently won a 2019 fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. His new book of poetry, Night Angler, won the 2018 James Laughlin Award.
When he stopped by the studio to discuss his journey into becoming a poet, he also read his poem "The Fidelity of Water," which was published in the New Yorker earlier this year.
