KUAF Arts Beat: Fluidity and Form

Artists Steve Adair and Craig Colorusso, whose works are now on display at the Arts Center of the Ozarks, grew up in vastly different environments and work with vastly different mediums yet there is a sense of movement and fluidity in both Adair's "Leaf Forms" and Colorusso's "Cubemusic."

Adair was inspired by the rural decay and the way nature overtakes the manmade when living in Jonesboro, Ark. Colorusso was living in a mansion in Connecticut after discovering a large sheet of scrap metal left over from cutting parts that would spark the beginnings of the "Cubemusic" installation.

The exhibit is up through Jan. 29th, with a reception 6-8 p.m. this Thursday, Jan. 13. Also of note, yoga will be offered within "Cubemusic" from 7-8:15 p.m. January 27.
