KUAF host Ozarks at Large Live and Ice Cream Social Today

Ozarks at Large will help kick off the 2015 edition of the Fayetteville Roots Festival with a FREE, live two-hour broadcast from the Fayetteville Public Library today, Friday August 28th.  Many of the festival's headliners will be performing, including John Fullbright and Pokey LaFarge.  Plus Barbara Barnes Sims, who worked with Sam Phillips at Sun Records, will talk about her book The Next Elvis and Emily from Pink House Alchemy will take us behind the bar and mix a special cocktail for the festival.  It all takes place live, and for free, in the Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Public Library on Friday.  Doors open at 11:30 and the show and broadcast begin at noon.

Please join KUAF for an Ice Cream Social at the station, immediately following the LIVE show and broadcast of Ozarks at Large/Fayetteville Roots Festival.

KUAF is located north, across the street from the library, at the Carver Center for Public Radio.

The ice cream is generously donated by our friends at The Walmart Museum.  Hope to see you then.
