Voter registration in advance of this year's midterm election has closed, and some areas have seen an increase in registrations compared to 2014. We hear some of the possible reasons why, and we also get some advice from a local elections coordinator on how to prepare for the election. Early voting begins Oct. 22, and election day is Nov. 6.
