Earlier this month, the Fayetteville City Council approved plans for its police department to work with the Springdale police department and the Washington County Sheriff’s office to apply for a grant to help cover the cost of body cameras. Earlier this year, the Lowell Police Department began equipping its police officers with body cameras. For many officers, using the cameras has become second nature.
