Ozarks at Large for Thursday, August 25, 2016

We travel to the Fort Smith National Historic Site to talk with an expert about the Great Indian Council, a gathering of 16 tribes that convened in Fort Smith after the Civil War to reestablish formal relations with the U.S. government. We also hear about a new site specific composition by composer and conductor Paul Haas, that will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design.

Jacqueline Froelich is an investigative reporter and news producer for Ozarks at Large.
Kyle Kellams is KUAF's news director and host of Ozarks at Large.
