KUAF’s Sunday Symphony provides two and a half hours of full symphonic works. This allows for a wide variety of pieces from different classical periods.
This week will feature pieces such as Mahler's 7th symphony, a piece that musician Dika Newlin refers to as having “progressive tonality”; Richard Strauss's Don Quixote which is rich with its' cello solos among a full orchestral ensemble; and Brahms's "Variations on a Theme of Handel." a piece for the solo piano. Hear these pieces from 7:30 to 10p.m. on KUAF.
