Generic Blues Show

Fridays at 9 p.m. on 91.3 FM and Sundays 6 p.m. on KUAF 3

The Generic Blues Show has been airing since the early 90's, playing tunes of all types of blues... whether it be country, rock, jazz, R&B or soul... it all links back to the blues.

KUAF will once again host a live concert celebrating local music programming June 28th at the Fayetteville Public Library. This year we're celebrating The Generic Blues Show, a program on KUAF since the early 1990s, with host Paul Kelso.

There are a limited number of tickets to see Buddy Shute and the Motivators perform, as well as Jesse Dean, in the Walker Community Room of the Fayetteville Public Library. The concert is from 7 - 9 p.m. and will be broadcast LIVE on 91.3FM.

On this edition of Ozarks at Large, music recorded earlier this year at KUAF during live editions of our local music shows. We hear from the band Silver Moon as they performed on The Pickin' Post with Mike Shirkey, blues guitarist Buddy Shute from his performance on the Generic Blues Show with Paul Kelso, and The Claudia Burson Trio and several friends during a live edition of Shades of Jazz with Robert Ginsburg.
