The 160th anniversary of the Battle of Fayetteville will be observed Saturday on the grounds of Headquarters House Museum.

Before sunrise on April 18, 1863, the town of Fayetteville was in the midst of a Civil War battle. On Saturday, the Washington County Historical Society will commemorate the event with a reenactment and more.
