Confederate obelisk mysteriously appears in Eureka Springs City Cemetery

A new Confederate obelisk stands on an empty gravesite in Eureka Springs city cemetery.

A new towering limestone monument honoring Confederate Veterans buried in Eureka Springs City Cemetery was recently erected on a privately owned empty burial plot. The obelisk was commissioned by a Carroll County resident who recently purchased the plot and permitted by a lone Eureka Springs cemetery commissioner.
