A University of Arkansas student has created a series of moss installations in downtown Fayetteville as part of her senior thesis project.

Perched in the Flat Iron Building in downtown Eureka Springs, popular primitive Ozark American folk artists Sylvia Wilson and her daughter Blakeley Wilson paint charming rural landscapes on boards and teapots.

"I think what it is, is that art in general is a wonderful place to feel connected to human beings," Jennifer Koh explains to Of Note's Katy Henriksen while discussing her new Tchaikovsky recording. "It's about feeling empathy. It's about shortening distances between people."

Her new album, Tchaikovsky's Complete Works for Violin and Orchestra, ​seeks to do just that.
