Early voting for a special election in Bentonville is underway. Election Day is Apr. 13. Voters are being asked to consider a bond extension that would support infrastructure and public safety improvement projects. A public meeting about the measure is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 8.

Early voting is underway in a special election in Gentry where residents are deciding whether to authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption between 10 a.m. and midnight on Sundays. Election Day is Feb. 9.

Early voting begins Aug. 4 for a special election in Bethel Heights and Springdale. Registered voters will be casting ballots for or against the consolidation of the city of Bethel Heights into the city of Springdale. Election officials are implementing new safety precautions in both Benton and Washington County polling sites to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On Nov. 12, residents of Cave Springs in Benton County will decide on a temporary sales tax and bond issues aimed at improving basic infrastructure and facilities to manage the town's growing population. Early voting starts Nov. 5.

Voters in northeastern Benton County have approved an increase in fees for the Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire Department. The proposal, the first increase in 19 years, passed by a vote of 212 to 210.
