Of Note for Monday, June 1, 2015: Sweet, Wild & Brazen Bernstein

Leonard Bernstein composed his only ever film score in 1955, the year his son Alexander was born and the music was dedicated to him. "The music is sweet, furious, witty, wild, sexy, brazen, passionate, eclectic, & unashamedly hopeful. Just like our dad," Alexander says of the "On the Waterfront" symphonic suite. Tune in to Monday's program to hear a recording of the suite from Leonard Bernstein conducting the New York Philharmonic.
