When Hélène Grimaud’s “Schumann/Strauss” album was released in 1995, the classical pianist was just 25 years old. Glimpses of her youth sparkle through the music she plays, and her sprightly approach is a perfect match for Richard Strauss’s “Burleske in D minor,” which the composer wrote in his early 20s. The talents of these two musicians meet with more than a century between them to create a whimsical experience for young and old alike.
