There's a true experimentation in the silent film era, in which a brand new technology is explored, as composer Ryan Cockerham and violinist Er-Gene Kahng explain when discussing tonight's Symphony of Horror at Giffels Auditorium in the UA's Old Main. Cockerham elaborates on how he used the latest technology to create grainy authenticity in his re-scoring F. W. Murnau's silent film Nosferatu.
