Sunday Symphony for June 5, 2016: A 16th Century Parody Mass

The Mass for the Feast of St. Isidore of Seville is a parody mass, based on a secular chanson rather than on a scriptural or liturgical text and a reconstruction of what may have been but was never historically performed as such.

Hear it performed by Gabrieli Consort & Players on original instruments as the highlight in this week's Sunday Symphony program from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on KUAF.
