Today Pete talks with Melissa Caffrey of The Spark Foundation about the Hero Half Marathon, coming up this Sunday, October 13th. This walk-friendly race includes options for every kind of runner, ranging from a half-marathon race to a one mile run.
The half marathon starts at 6 AM at Lokomotion and will end at the Finish Line Festival on Dickson Street, near the Race Headquarters located in the Walton Arts Center parking lot.
The Finish Line Festival will feature a variety of food, music, and family-friendly activities, as well as a Columbus House Brewery beer garden. This event is open to the public.
