Today Pete is joined via phone by Ally Mrachek, Child Nutrition Director with Fayetteville Public Schools, to talk about their 2020 Summer Nutrition Meal Program.

The Summer Nutrition Meal Program works to keep families healthy by providing nutritious breakfasts and lunches on a weekly basis, while maintaining safe social distancing protocols in pick-up locations.  Meals are served frozen each Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and have a shelf life of one week.  Children must be present to receive a meal package.

Pick-up locations include Asbell Elementary, Butterfield Trail Elementary, Happy Hollow Elementary, Owl Creek School, and the FPS Food Truck located at the Fayetteville Public Library

For more information, visit Fayetteville Public Schools online or contact 479-444-3000.
