University seminar on how soccer shapes society

A new seminar on soccer will be offered through the University of Arkansas' Honors College.

Soccer is the world's most popular sport and because of its global influence, the game is connected to politics, culture and economics. Todd Cleveland, associate chair and director of graduate studies in the University of Arkansas Department of History, will lead a signature seminar about soccer next spring.
