Hospitals' need for blood never slows. However, during the month of January, donations typically do. Winter weather and other complications make the month one of the most challenging to gain donors. Ozarks at Large's Kyle Kellams spoke with Our Blood Institute's executive director, Carvin Brown, about why people should consider giving during the cold season.
