Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

The Fayetteville High School student council is holding its19th annual homeless vigil on Dec. 7. On that night students will sleep outside in makeshift housing, as a way to better understand the realities of homelessness. The vigil raises money to support Families in Transition (FIT), a program run through the Fayetteville Public School System that aids homeless children and families.

Student council president Lexi Scott joins Pete Hartman in the Nancy Blair Operations Studio to discuss the importance of helping the homeless in Northwest Arkansas.
