To Touch the Sky: Nine Songs for Unaccompanied Chorus on Texts by Women is composer Kevin Puts’s tribute to female authors such as Emily Brontë, Christina Rosetti, and Sappho, just to name a few. Each of the nine songs embodies the mood and style of a specific piece by each writer. Tune in to Friday’s program to hear Grammy-winning chorus Conspirare’s exploration of the divine feminine through this piece.
