Violin as Chanteuse in Anne Akiko Meyers' 'Serenade'

American violinist Anne Akiko Meyers was seduced by stage and film music that had no violin score for her to play, so she commissioned seven renowned arrangers to do just that. The result is her recent release Serenade: the Love Album, which also includes Leonard Bernstein's iconic and under-recorded "Serenade: After Plato's Symposium."
