Tonight's Artosphere Festival Orchestra concert includes a North American debut performance along with Beethoven's 3rd and his "Creatures of Prometheus" Overture. Daniel Schnyder's riveting "Impetus," a concerto for string quartet and orchestra will bring the Dover Quartet front and center in this electrifying piece. I had a chance to chat with members of the quartet on location prior to their performance. We talk about the ways in which this vibrant string quartet has grown, as well as the differences and similarities of performing as part of a quartet versus a symphony and more. Listen to the entire conversation here.
