Of Note for Sun., July 3, 2016: Max Richter's Sleep

British composer Max Richter set off for an ambitious 8-hour composition, simply titled "Sleep." He says it was his attempt at a "personal lullaby for a frenetic world. A manifesto for a slower pace of existence." Hear highlights from Richter's studio recording of Sleep plus a sonata for cello and piano from OlliMustonen and a Max Reger sonata for clarinet and piano in the first ever two hour edition of Of Note coming up from 8 to 10 p.m. on KUAF.
