Chiara String Quartet Plays Bartok By Heart

The ambitious Chiara String Quartet follows up Brahms by Heart with infamously tricky Bartok.

"When we began working on memorizing the Bartok quartets we found that Bartok's process worked in reverse almost magically,"explains cellist Gregory Beaver. "Many of the devilishly difficult passages in his music became natural when we performed without printed music."
