Arkansas Energy Office to Develop Home Energy Scorecard

Within two years, Arkansas home owners will be able to contract with accredited energy assessors to rate and estimate annual household energy efficiency and costs. But as Jacqueline Froelich reports, some say the scorecard is a concession to a now defunct proposal under the state’s newly revised energy code requiring all new construction in Arkansas to undergo a comprehensive energy audit.
