Uncovering Ozark History Through Coverlets

For two avid weavers, the collection of coverlets at Shiloh Museum of Ozark History was quite the discovery.  Literature told Mary Benson and Laura Redford there were none woven in the 1800s west of the Mississippi River.  That prompted them to launch theOzark Coverlet Project and to coauthor a book showcasing Shiloh's collection and the women who made them.
