Veterans Treatment Courts Offer Mentoring for Vets

Veterans treatment courts have existed in northwest Arkansas for about seven years. The courts are a way for veterans who have committed felonies and meet certain criteria to avoid pleading guilty. The program is also a way to provide treatment for underlying issues, and we hear about a new component, a mentorship program, wherein a participant can turn to a fellow veteran for extra help.
