City of Fayetteville Begins Accepting Compostable Food Waste From Residents

The City of Fayetteville is now accepting compostable food waste from residents as part of its goal to divert at least 40 percent of all waste sent to the landfill by 2027. Composting is essential to meeting that goal because food waste makes up 18 percent of the total waste going to the landfill.
