Speed Limits to Increase on Some Arkansas Highways

The Arkansas Department of Transportation has started installing new speed limit signs around the state after the Highway Commission approved increasing the speed limit from 70 to 75 miles per hour on rural interstates and 60 to 65 miles per hour on urban interstates. Officials estimate the changes will cost about $350,000.
