DHS Will Reject New DACA Requests, Enacts Other Changes

Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced it will reject initial requests for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA program, as it weighs the future of the program. This comes about six weeks after the Supreme Court ruled against the Trump administration’s efforts to end the program. We spoke with Arkansas United for reaction to the announcement and to learn what comes next.
