Reports of child abuse in Arkansas decreased in 2020. A statewide hotlinereceived 9,700 fewer calls and the Children's Safety Center in Springdale experienced a 15 percent decrease in the number of children they served. However, advocates say the declines do not mean child abuse and neglect were happening less.
